Wildlife Photography

• We will meet at the assigned location and time. 
• Bring your camera. 
• I will take you on a guided tour of the surroundings; identifying the species of birds encountered along the way.
• I will discuss my approach to photographing the wildlife seen and will assist you in capturing a photo as well.  
• No pets please. 
• Bring your own drinking water. 
• Groups are limited to 4 guests (unless previous arrangements are made). 
• Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. I wear camo/neutral colors when out in the field to minimize my presence. 
• In the event of rain, the Wildlife Photography session will be re-scheduled. I do not jeopardize camera equipment. 
• If rain is predicted, I will email cancellations the evening before the scheduled session.   
• We will reconnect to reschedule the event.   

• I shoot with a Canon R6 Mach II mirrorless camera. I have 2 field lenses. A 100-500mm and a 200-800mm. 
• It is advisable to have a zoom lens for wildlife photography. This allows you to stand near the animal but not too close to spook it.
• Ensure that you have more than one charged battery and spare cards.
• Please know your equipment to some degree. I shoot manual and can assist you in the proper settings for obtaining the shot. However, I am not familiar with Nikon, Sony or Olympus cameras.

• This is a large park. Therefore, there is a 2 hour minimum for this event.
• 2 Hour Wildlife Photo session ~ $100.00 per person.
• Meet in the general parking lot. 
• Portable restrooms available.
